What is the Certified Marketing Assistance Specialist program? This is a program offered through the broker's Relocation department. An agent's achievement in the program demonstrates a keen awareness of the personal & professional value of continuing education and increased knowledge. By completing this program, the agent is accepting the responsibilities associated with providing the highest caliber of service to clients.
What is an SFR® designation? The SFR® designation has been named an Offical Certification from the National Association of Realtors and it stands for Short Sales and Foreclosure Resource.
What is included in the cirriculum to earn this certification? The SFR® cirriculum provides a framework for understanding how to:
- Direct distressed sellers to finance, tax, and legal professionals
- Qualify sellers for short sales
- Develop a short-sale package
- Negotiate with lenders
- Tap into buyer demand
- Limit risk
- Protect buyers
How does an agent earn their SFR® certification? In order to earn your SFR certification, you must complete one core course and one elective course and after successful completion of both, you may then apply for the designation.
